Hey friends!

Summer’s officially here today! I feel like I blinked, and suddenly it’s June. The yard is… a mess. It’s hot AF, but at least my pretty flowers from last year sprang up and are bursting with orange color!

Right now, I’m craving simple things. I want the good summer things that I remember from being a kid (like spending more time in water to splash around). I’m on a mission to eat outside more than once a week, even if it’s just a quick breakfast before the heat gets insane.

There’s a lot going on in my brain as I try to figure out what exactly can be done this summer and what goals are a little too lofty to get done in the next couple of months.

Summer is in full swing, and so is my bucket list, friends.

In this newsletter, I’m sharing my full summer bucket list to keep things fun and low-pressure, plus launching The Great Summer Galette Challenge - your excuse to make all the flaky, rustic, totally brag-worthy galettes your heart desires. I’m also dropping my seasonal market guide so you know exactly what to grab at the farmers market.

If you love getting fresh ideas for recipes, seasonal inspiration, and little lifestyle nudges to make summer feel just right, you’re going to want to stick around for this one. And if you’re craving even more insider tips, behind-the-scenes peeks, and exclusive content that goes beyond the blog, consider joining the paid subscription- it’s where the real fun happens!

To start, here’s a little mood board I put together and all I can say is, I need more peonies in my life. Immediately.
