stop trying to be everyone’s favorite host (spoiler: be you)
Take the quiz to find your style, then dive into the guide for easy hosting hacks.
Remember that time you spent all day prepping a spread that looked amazing… but you barely got to enjoy the party? Yeah, been there. Hosting doesn’t have to feel like a full-contact sport or creating a scene that looks straight off Instagram. It’s about finding your own go-to vibe, your signature setup that feels like you, tastes like summer, and doesn’t require a team of sous chefs or an industrial-sized cooler.
I feel like there are a ton of hosting guides out there - you know the ones that remind you to make sure you have enough ice and don’t forget to set out the serving dishes the night before. While the tips are all great, none of them really help you find your style.
This summer, I want to help you build your signature hosting style - the one that feels so you it becomes your default setting.
I created this guide because I know how easy it is to overthink hosting. You want the food to be perfect, the drinks to impress, the vibe to feel effortless… but somewhere between the grocery list and setting the table, it starts to feel like more work than fun.
I’m going a little more whimsical and fun with this newsletter because that’s exactly what hosting should feel like. Yes, there will be a touch of stress and anticipation mixed in there, but this should be something you not only want to do, but look forward to doing!
